Welcome
Joseph Fady Garabet Foundation

This site is dedicated to the memory of Joseph Garabet - Zuzu - who died in a tragic accident on October 1st 2007 after borrowing his friend's motor bike. Zuzu was the perfect son, the perfect brother and best friend to many. Zuzu was an outgoing and happy young man, never in trouble dedicated to his family and friend.

On October 1st 2007, he borrowed his friend's motor bike and went on a 10 minute drive toward Mount Baldy. Joseph never rode a street bike before, coming down from his short trip he was not able to negotiate a hard turn, blinded by the afternoon sun, his bike collided heads on with a truck going up the mountain.

Joseph lost his life before hitting the ground. that was the end of a dream, with his departure many lived were changed for ever.

We pray for him every day and we pray even more for his friend who lend him the bike. He will have to live with this guilt all his life.

The Joseph Garabet Foundation is dedicated to Zuzu's memory and to help all young men and woman to avoid such tragedies and saying NO to their friend when they are asked to borrow cars, bikes, skis, sea-doos, firearms.

If we are able to save on life, Zuzu's death will not be in vain.
